nyan-mode images does not appear on my emacs

I am using emacs under ubuntu 20.04 and installed nyan-mode with melpa
to emacs. it is working but nyan cat is not appearing. emacs version
is 26.3. Any suggestion?

Edit: When i trying to open ../img/nyan.xmp inside emacs, it prompts
"Cannot display image: (Display does not support images)"

Check your support for displaying XPM images in Emacs.

Once upon a time, I had to manually find and copy `xpm4.dll` to an
Emacs directory in order to enable support for this format then nyan
cat was flying again.

`(image-type-available-p 'png) (image-type-available-p 'xpm)`

i am on linux and that function is not available in my emacs. i tried
with xmp.so file but nothing changed.i am on terminal by the way.

Emacs 26.3 GNU/Linux here and this function is defined and it returns
t(rue) in my case:

`image-type-available-p is an autoloaded compiled Lisp function in
‘image.el’.`

It should work for TUI as well.

*EDIT*: I mean, on TUI `nyan-mode` uses ascii art.

Just in case... Did you actually enable `nyan-mode` after installing
the package?

Yeah i did. Its starting but just in text mode. Images not appearing.

I dont have image.el file. Actually after installing emacs my .emacs.d
folder was empty. But i will find it and try this func.

I guess you don't have an nyan-mode issue, you do have a graphics
issue in general. But I'm not an expert here.
