Emacs 28.1 from kelleyk PPA and native compilation

Hi.

Just installed emacs 28.1 from ppa:kelleyk/emacs. It says it's built
with native comp enabled but when I run it it bytes compiles the files
normally. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it not built with native
comp?

You can check if your build has native comp with C-h v system-
configuration-options.

Also there would be a directory called eln-cache in .emacs.d where you
would find eln files.

It has been disabled because some users had breaking issues. There is
a solution/workaround already, but we're waiting for the package
maintainer to merge it and publish a new version.
