Is there any way to use font features in Emacs? reddit / emacs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ObsidianChickenz · 2022-05-06 22:17 I'm trying to set up Emacs with Fira Code, but I use several alternate characters for the font. Is there any way to force Emacs to use these alternate characters? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vasjpan02 · 2022-05-06 23:34 Dunno why zelm android emacs is stuck on small font ---------------------------------------------------------------------- konrad1977 · 2022-05-07 06:39 I think this might be what you're looking for. It is mentioned as a desired feature in our `etc/TODO`. Patches welcome. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ObsidianChickenz · 2022-05-07 13:44 Stylistic sets were indeed what I had in mind. Glad to know it's on the to-do list! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lastnamebird · 2022-05-07 21:24 a bit of a workaround that I have been using I found on this [blog post](https://blog.lambda.cx/posts/opentype-font-exploration/). Essentially, they use this tool https://github.com/twardoch/fonttools- opentype-feature-freezer to enable font variants by default. Though I'm not certain if it works with ligatures.
