Any way to display lsp-ui popup in minibuffer?

I'm looking for a way to move the contents of the lsp-ui popup into
the minibuffer, but all I can figure out how to do is change the
position of the popup via lsp-ui-doc-position. Anyone have a solution
for this or know if this is even accomplishable?

I tried doing this and wasn’t able to figure it out, which is one of
the main reasons I switched to `eglot` and `eldoc` and friends, which
use the standard completion facilities and minibuffer.

hmm that's unfortunate, I'll take another look at eglot but i'm pretty
sure the other advantages of lsp-mode outweigh my preference to use
the minibuffer instead of a popup
