Questions about getting browser widgets working/rendering in Emacs:

1. Currently, I got python/jupyter working nicely in emacs with Emacs-
Ipython-Notebook and Elpy(things like matplotlib render nicely in
emacs/ein), but 1 thing that I haven't figured out yet, is does
emacs/ein currently suppport pywidgets/ipythonwidgets(browser
widgets)? I can get ipywidgets to run, but instead of it displaying a
browser widget in emacs/ein, it only displays a variable=value of the
widget hat I'm trying to render?
2. Any tips to fix this browser widget issue in emacs/emacs-ipython-
notbook(or jupyter-emacs as well)?

I'm very happy with using emacs-ipython-notebook and and jupyter-emacs
in emacs, but, the last thing that I need to get working is browser
widgets, then I should be good to go with python/jupyter projects in
emacs.

Is emacs still using gtk2? I never got around to digging through this.
