No EXWM systray with Emacs v29.0.50 reddit / emacs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Danrobi1 · 2022-02-05 11:34 Hello. Just compiled Emacs v29.0.50. The EXWM systray is not working here. Is any EXWM user have found/write a fix for that issue? Or is it only on my end? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- gammarray · 2022-02-05 12:46 I’ve never been able to get it working on any version. I implemented polybar with EXWM workspaces support instead and even that I hardly use. Chances are there’s an Emacs way to do whatever you’re looking for without a tray. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ieure · 2022-02-05 15:42 Same result here -- it has never worked for me on any version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stebalien1 · 2022-02-05 16:26 This has been reported to the mailing list and there's a workaround: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-devel/2022-02/msg00104.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Danrobi1 · 2022-02-05 22:34 Already replied on Github. Gona say it here too for Reddit's users. It works but the tray is now top left corner :/ [Sceenshot](https://user- images.githubusercontent.com/48020114/152661021-bd6d8a77-433d-48a0- abee-ca400708c206.png) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Danrobi1 · 2022-02-05 22:45 Hi. That's what I have in my init file for EXWM. When Emacs launch I run `M-x exwm-init`. Tray always worked for me. Works now with v29 (Thanks to u/stebalien1) but the tray is top left corner.
