I cannot connect to Bottomless Abyss

Yesterday, I discovered BBS, after investigating for some time, I
managed to join "Pirate Quarters". I think is pretty good with all
that it have, but it lacks activity so I decided to try join "The
Bottomless Abyss". I found the adress, wrote it in the cmd, but it
didnt open, it said "connecting to bottomlessabyss" but no matter how
many time I waited, it never loaded, after 30 minutes I reasoned it
was imposible. What is happening?

I can't connect to it either.  But I found they have a web site with
an HTML5-based telnet client (fTelnet) that is able to connect:

Make sure to use the right port for your connection.

- Telnet is on port 2023
- SSH is on port 2222

This should solve your problem connecting.

Download a good terminal program like syncterm. (Google for the
download) by default it’ll populate the dialing directory with a list
of synchronet bbs’s.

I think you mean "Captain's Quarters II", and there's been 27 calls
with 7 local message posts within the last day, so I wouldn't say "it
lacks activity", especially by today's BBS standards.  And as with
anything, you get out of it what you put into it...
