Sorry if this is inappropriate, but I thought I'd give this a shot.
I'm processing \*.QQQ files from fastecho to add a tzutc kludge with
the following batch file:

cd \\ele\\fastecho\\tempout\\

for %%a in ('dir /b \*.QQQ') DO (

sed -b -i 's/TID: FastEcho 1.46 43288/TID: FastEcho 1.46
43288\\x0D\\x01TZUTC: \\x2D0700/gi' %%a

)

Am I doing something obviously wrong?  I hope so.

You forgot a space in between the parameters.

Just kidding. I honestly have no idea, but hope you can get it squared
by someone way more solid than me.🤘🏼

sed is too big to run in memory...  Is there an alternative solution?
I've got fastecho swapping out.
