BBS Melee game question reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jp_muzz · 2023-10-19 06:59 Hello, I grew up playing on BBS and one of my favorite games was Melee.  I've been looking for a way to play it for YEARS but keep coming up empty. I've no idea how to setup a local BBS let alone how to install the 3.51 version I have located on-line. NOTE I did see a 3.52 version but was unable to download. If you happen to know of an active BBS on-line that is hosting that wonderful game that would be amazing. I didn't have any problem with that. You'll need to run this in a 32 bit VM, or OS or install NTx64VDM to run 16 bit doors in a 64 bit OS. Is there a desire for an IBBS league for this? I'd like to see if Lord Time (League 10 IBBS) would run it, but if not I probably could. How many systems would be in? You'd just need to toss your \*.exp files from your export directory into a mailbox directory that would go out to the hub, and move \*.exp files from your inbound directory to your melee directory, then run maint.exe once a day.
