How do i Add non-synchro bbs's w/port #'s reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ducks-Paradise · 2023-09-01 19:22 How do I add non synchronet bbs's that are telnet with ports other that 23 ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Android8675 · 2023-09-01 19:44 You mean like as a door to remote connect? Something like this shouldwork if telgate.js is still a thing. it's been a while it may have been changed/removed, but... ```Make a new door app entry, command should be something like: *telgate.js {ip} {port}``` Just spaces, no colins or what have you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ducks-Paradise · 2023-09-01 21:32 I had tried *telgate but didn't know you could you needed to write it *telgate.js , I'll give that a try. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ducks-Paradise · 2023-09-01 22:16 It says it's trying, just doesn't look like it's passing it through the terminal. I'm using drop file type dorinfo#.Def, should that be something different? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Android8675 · 2023-09-02 00:12 Goto the wiki.synchro.net pages for assistance. JS programs don’t need a drop file they just read the data from sbbs through variables. Look up telgate.js on the wiki. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ducks-Paradise · 2023-09-02 01:21 The thing is I already have 2 others that work. This 1 I'm trying to add does not. But it will through regular telnet, say zoc or putty. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Android8675 · 2023-09-02 01:22 Yeah it’s a file that I think is in sbbs/exec. You can ope. It in a text editor. They sometimes put comments and settings in the file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- braxbrax · 2023-09-02 04:44 Looks like it should be *telgate.js address:port, since you mentioned using ports. Without the ":port" is would default to standard telnet port 23. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ducks-Paradise · 2023-09-02 05:57 I've tried that, does bring anything back. Outside synchro I can connect to it just fine though. Not sure why I can't inside the sbbs. I have 2 others that work, just not the 1. Weird. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- digitlman · 2023-09-04 05:00 This is the wrong place for Synchronet-related questions, see [https:/ /wiki.synchro.net/howto:support](https://wiki.synchro.net/howto:suppor t) for details on how to get Synchronet support.
