I just tried calling eotd and logging in over hyperterm, can anyone
reach it?
bbs.eotd.com

Calling the phone number just rings and nothing picks up :/

It looks like they've been taken off of the telnet BBS guide website
too

No luck connecting on my end, what all did they host?

They had some neat message boards from a long time ago, LORD, a pretty
cool file library and really neat ASCII graphics. They were my first
bbs and also fairly close to my location so I felt a certain loyalty.
It's really sad to see them go if they are gone!
Here's their former page on the bbs page

I understand the loyalty, heck I wish some of the old ones I love were
still around. I put my own BBS online to host door games, may get
around to files one day.

I did my scan yesterday and found it offline, so I temporarily took it
off the database.

I saw it was down on Friday 11 August and temporarily took it out of
the visible database at the Telnet BBS Guide. It's been a very
reliable BBS and I assume it's just temporary.

Oh that's fantastic! I'm so glad to hear it!

Jeez, I thought I was the only person still calling this BBS. The LORD
game has become lonely.

(It's up now)
