Magiterm and changing server keys... reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- shurato99 · 2023-03-12 01:00 Has anyone used Magiterm on an ssh server that has changed its keys? It's reporting that the key has changed, then aborting the connection. [conchaos.synchro.net:2278](https://conchaos.synchro.net:2278). If you haven't connected with the old key, you probably won't have a problem. Netrunner and Syncterm work properly, but netrunner doesn't work with my system (ssh://[bbs:shsbbs@shsbbs.ddns.net](mailto:bbs:shs bbs@shsbbs.ddns.net)) and I'm not that fond of the Syncterm interface. I don't know if Apam has a forum, so I thought I'd check here first. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- opt_in_out_in_out · 2023-03-12 08:41 If it's using system SSH, try looking in ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, and remove the line for conchaos. The next time you connect it'll treat it as a new system. (That's me making a lot of assumptions about how magiterm works!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- apam1981 · 2023-03-12 09:26 On linux, edit (or delete) the known\_hosts file in : $HOME/.local/share/Magicka/MagiTerm ---------------------------------------------------------------------- shurato99 · 2023-03-12 15:26 I neglected to say this is v. 1.1.16 Windows. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- shurato99 · 2023-03-12 15:40 I found users/user/appdata/roaming/magicka/magiterm/known\_hosts and edited that.
