Or is it just a shared experience with any other BBS that logs in? I logged into one BBS using it and played Planets: TEOS, and was going to log into another to see if it was the same game, but it wouldn't launch there. The way BBSLink and DoorParty (a similar system) work is that they're hosted remotely and basically the user is sent to a central location (basically a dedicated BBS server that's solely for door games) and they play there. The way it's set up is sort of interesting. BBSLink uses Telnet, DoorParty uses a SSH tunnel and RLOGIN. But the user thinks it's local to your board. Instructions for sign-up are at the link below. It's minimal setup, a no-frills door server open to anyone with a telnet/RLOGIN capable BBS.
