Join the BBS World Discord Server! reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kevinb361 · 2022-01-29 06:55 Howdy all! I am 'Zylone' in the BBS world.. sysop of [bbs.pLANETcARAVAN.org](https://bbs.pLANETcARAVAN.org) Throwing an invite out there to anyone interested in a Discord server focused on anything and everything BBS related. Unfortunately lately we have lost some really good BBS related Discord servers.. so a few of us in the community decided to rally together and start a new one. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wndrbr3d · 2022-01-29 17:33 Did Hypernode BBS and the Hypernode Discord disappear from the internet? I recall being on that Discord but it appears gone and Hypernode seems wiped from the internet. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UCN_cyberstrator · 2022-01-29 17:46 Why discord? why not just go to actual BBS instead? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kevinb361 · 2022-01-29 18:42 A lot of us gather on discord to share things like art we are working on, or door games with screenshots of them, or discussing programming, etc.. I get ya.. to each their own... it can just be convenient.. for example.. I was working with a fellow sysop testing some of his code and it was alot easier to just take a video of what I was doing to send so he could see how it broke, etc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kevinb361 · 2022-01-29 18:43 Yep, it is unfortunate and why this discord was started. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UCN_cyberstrator · 2022-01-30 17:33 I mean don't get me wrong. I understand. BBS's do lack some basic things that modern platforms have. I have a BBS running but still like using my UCN board cause of what it can do or allow me to do. have you seen it yet. underground.cyberpunks.network ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kevinb361 · 2022-01-31 02:39 Yep, check your messages ;) I dropped on on it last night hah ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kevinb361 · 2022-02-01 08:33 OK so I am a n00b.. I borked the invite.. apparently it was a temporary one.. so here is a permanent link! https://discord.gg/cUp2DtzXjZ
