BBS for news/weather/??? on Tandy 100 reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kevin762 · 2022-01-17 01:40 So I just procured a (1986) state of the art Tandy 102 and Wi-Fi modem for it. 1) Are there any BBSs that have useful applications or links to news/weather/??? 2) is there a way to format the BBS for 40x8 character screen of the Tandy 102? I have tried several so far from various lists of BBSs that are running and can’t find the above info at them. I guess looking to impress my teenagers and turn it on to some useful info occasionally. I don’t notice much difference. It doesn’t cause the bbs to reformat itself for 40, just seems to wrap like it would without the setting. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nevarro · 2022-01-17 23:22 Yeah I mean the Realm of Serion BBS has both news and weather integration (visiting the Oracle from the courtyard), but it's all standard output (80 columns)
