If you read them, they are for DS-2. So I am still in the hunt for the real docs. Thanks for the help! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- highedutechsup · 2023-09-08 15:39 Do you have the cnet12 d64 images? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jimmyzeet · 2023-10-23 17:29 C-Net 12.0 manual: [https://commodore.software/downloads/category/468- c-net](https://commodore.software/downloads/category/468-c-net) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jimmyzeet · 2023-10-23 17:30 C-Net 12.0 Dongle: [https://1200baud.wordpress.com/2018/10/31/c-net- dongle-cracked/](https://1200baud.wordpress.com/2018/10/31/c-net- dongle-cracked/) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jimmyzeet · 2023-10-23 17:31 I have one but it's already setup and I'm yet to find a "virgin" one where I can actually set it up. That search is what led me here..... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SpitfireTN · 2023-10-23 18:31 I don't think the pre-v12 dongles will work for v12. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- highedutechsup · 2023-10-23 18:46 Wouldn't mind a copy of that if you could upload it to mega.io or something. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jimmyzeet · 2023-10-23 19:17 Did you read the link? It mentions several times that v12 works. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jimmyzeet · 2023-10-23 20:32 [https://github.com/john-clark/cnetbbs/tree/master/%5B64%5D%20C- NET%20v12](https://github.com/john- clark/cnetbbs/tree/master/%5B64%5D%20C-NET%20v12) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- highedutechsup · 2023-10-23 22:06 Use DirMaster and look at them on the PC. The both look close. If I remember right, on the c64 you had to configure it first or it would hang, and the error messages were frustrating. The first one is probably virgin, not sure where I found it. Maybe it needs the sys.bbs file? My pi1541 in pieces or I would test it out on the real thing. I am working on a debian image that boots multiple c64 emulators and setup the serial port modems to connect to each other, that you can RDP to from windows, but haven't gotten to the part of setting up cnet yet. I am trying to collect as many different versions as I can, I wish I could find my old backups. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jimmyzeet · 2023-11-17 03:32 I’ve spent hours and hours moving my old floppy’s to my pc and reassembling my bbs. I’ve learned tons in the process. For the cnet image above, just delete the bd.data file and boom you have a boot disk that you can configure. I just have every p file made. Needed a 1581 image to hold them all.
