Found an original install disk for Diversi-DIAL (“ddial”), an online
chat board popular in the U.S. in the 80s and early 90s. It ran off
Apple II systems and supported 7 incoming phone lines at 300 baud. My
first chat room until MajorBBS came along.

Ahh, yes. I suffered through 300 baud on my C64 for a couple years
before upgrading to 1200 (gasp!).

I'm not sure I was familiar with ddial boards in my area, though I'm
sure they were around. Multi-line boards were always sweet.

Software sounds pretty advanced for 1984. I wonder if this would have
worked on my IIgs..
