I updated my "ElexForecast" project for 2020. It displays
FiveThirtyEight's election forecast data in beautiful 80x24 ANSI on my
BBS.

I love this!  Thanks for sharing it. Bummer we can only use it every
four years. Wonder if there’s anything else it could be purposed to in
order to get use out of it all the time?

I have another version I started 2 years ago that just tracks the
president’s popularity polling. I made improvements there that could
maybe yield a standalone chart library, sort of like Frame.js. But
charts at 80x24 can’t show a lot of detail without scrolling.

True... I think just being able to track the real time data would be
cool though. I saw someone did something similar with COVID numbers.
For some reason, I enjoy being able to present relevant current data
to ANSI BBS callers.  It’s almost like an anachronism, even setting
the ingenuity of how to present such data in ANSI form aside.
