Anyone got setup info for Usurper on MysticBBS? Been trying all kinds
of settings for the past hour and not having luck.

Running on 32bit Windows 7

I actually FINALLY figured this out and it was something stupid
simple/

So, for anyone else, here's what I did.

You need to install NETFOSS. It's required for most games in Mystic.

1. Download [https://github.com/rickparrish/Usurper/archive/master.zip
](https://github.com/rickparrish/Usurper/archive/master.zip) of
Usurper.
2. Extract to c:\\mystic\\doors\\usurper (or whatever your game path
is).
3. Extract usurp020e from the ORIGINAL
[ARCHIVES.zip](https://ARCHIVES.zip) to your Usurper directory
4. Extract SAMPLES to your Usurper directory
5. Run EDITOR.EXE to initialize the setup.
6. Edit MULTI1.BAT to include:
*CD \\MYSTIC\\DOORS\\USURPER*
*Usurper /N%1 /PC:\\mystic\\temp%1*
*CD\\MYSTIC*
7. Rename SAMPLE.CTL to USURP.CTL
8. Edit USURP.CTL (Don't bother with DDSETUP, it kept crashing on me)
and Change the Sysop Name, BBS name, Uncomment BBSTYPE and change to
"DOOR.SYS" and uncomment "Fossil". Save file
9. Copy USURP.CTL to sperate files for each node you have. So if you
have 4 nodes, you would have a USURP1.CTL, USURP2.CTL, USURP3.CTL and
USURP4.CTL.
10. Open command line, go to mystic directory, type in "mystic -cfg"
11. Navigate to Editors, Menu Editor and hit Enter.
12. Select default, then select doors and hit Enter
13. Enter "/I" to insert a new door
14. Change Display text to whatever you want it to say. Also change
Hot Key to match and whatever access level (Access string) you want to
have for the game (mine is s20)
15. Hit your TAB key and select (GO) Go to main menu, then hit Enter
16. Change "Command" to "DD" Exec external program
17. Change "Data to the following: c:\\mystic\\netfoss\\nf.bat /N%3
/H%0 c:\\mystic\\doors\\usurper\\MULTI1.BAT %3

That is pretty much it. It took me a while and the hang us was.....
most instructions told me run my batch file command as "*Usurper /N%1
/PC:\\mystic\\temp****%n****"* instead of *"%1".* That one thing hosed
the whole thing up!

There is a 32-bit version of Usurper out there. I'm running 0.23e.
