Recently, I've been trying to install it again under Mystic but I'm not able to patch the executables for the runtime error "Runtime error 200 at 39ED:0D39". Unfortunately, this error is not correctable with the available runtime patches. Does anyone here recognize this particular error? If there is anyone using v2.20b of EZROM today? I'd be ecstatic if someone could share their executables with me (EZREQ.EXE, EZROM.EXE, EZUSER.EXE, ZIPCOM.EXE). I've been trying to track down the original author recently with no success... It would be great to buy another key which is required to get all the features. There were a few tools of the time that would reduce the size of the exe on disk, and they could all be reversed with no ill effect. *Edit:* then try the RTE 200 patches once the original exe has been extracted. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UM-Underminer · 2020-08-24 20:44 Error 200 is extremely common with older BBS software as a good chunk of it was written with Turbo Pascal, and doesn't handle processors faster than 200mhz. There's a couple different patches available, but I have had fantastic luck with patchcrt, and have yet to run into a program it hasn't fixed for me. As always, keep a backup of the original files before patching. This isn't a common 'runtime error 200'. The problem appears in the compression of the binary. Tried a couple of utilities to unpack with no success.
