Need some help with Doors and dosemu on Ubuntu

I have a WWIV telnet BBS set up on a Ubuntu 18.04 server. The BBS
runs, most of my issues have been sorted out, except for getting doors
to run with dosemu. I have dosemu and dos2unix/unix2dos installed and
have read a ton of different ways of getting doors to work in WWIV.
Starting to run out of ideas. From what I am seeing, the BBS calls a
native .sh file which in turns launches dosemu which then calls a
batch file to run the door in DOS emulation.

Nothing happens on the BBS (i'm trying to install LORD.. I read TW2002
is much harder to get working when using Linux),

Anyway, hoping I can get advice from a fellow WWIV sysop that educate
on how to get this thing working.

With TW2002, you can run it under emulation under Wine.  That's what I
do. :)

Sorry I can't offer advice on any of the other things, I haven't
successfully done much with WWIV and am running Mystic instead for the
moment.

Also at some point I plan on trying out dosemu2, it's still developed
and may be less fickle with newer linux builds.
