Telegard BBS Installation issues

Hello all,

I'm attempting to install Telegard 3.09g2 SP3 and am running into some
issues with a date mismatch on telegard.exe and telegard.ovr. I'm
running the install under dosbox, and I've tried this on both 32bit
and 64bit systems. The main install runs fine, service pack 2 installs
fine, this issue pops up for the SP3 and SP4 installs using bupdate.
The instructions day to check the date of both files, which are the
current date of 8/1/2020 but I think the update files are from 98. Has
anyone run into this problem, and how have you solved it? thanks!
