Mystic Telnet help. reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlipheeseXVI · 2020-02-08 02:22 I need help with Mystic. I started learning how to get a BBS going and I managed to get Mystic running but I dont know how to add games to it. I have another one called Renegade but I didnt figure out how to get that one going, but have a lot of games I want to carry over to Mystic. How would I do that? Thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dperry324 · 2020-02-08 03:06 Have you seen the mystic guy on YouTube? He shows you how to do all sorts of things with mystic. Oh, and call Cyberia BBS at Cyberiabbs.zapto.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rmiles7721 · 2020-02-08 03:25 Definitely check out Mystic Guy. You can also find info at the Mystic Wiki [http://wiki.mysticbbs.com /doku.php](http://wiki.mysticbbs.com/doku.php) If you want to get a bunch of games going initially look at DoorParty and BBSLink. [http://wiki.throwbackbbs.com/doku.php](http://wiki.throwbackbbs.com/ doku.php) [https://bbslink.net/](https://bbslink.net/) Probably made the best choice with Mystic. Built-in Telnet server among other things. RG is awesome but you would need a separate telnet server and mailer if you want to join networks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlipheeseXVI · 2020-02-09 01:09 I cant seem to find that video specifically. There is a lot on mail and such but I don't see any for games. Thanks for the recommendation too btw! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- maskreet · 2020-02-13 17:33 Toss me a line on my BBS, telnet://bbs.throwbackbbs.com and I'll point you in the direction of getting either DoorParty or your own local doors running on your BBS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2020-02-13 23:38 [deleted] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlipheeseXVI · 2020-02-14 01:21 Sure! Thanks :) Update: Well I made an account, and within like 15 min my window suddenly freaked out. I tried to log back in but it said i cant be logged into more then one node. Now it says im blocked from accessing the BBS x-x I didnt even do anything. So I cant join anymore. My name was Alma Elma. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- maskreet · 2020-02-14 01:47 You're all set, I reset the node. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlipheeseXVI · 2020-02-14 03:52 Still says im blocked from joining the BBS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- maskreet · 2020-02-14 05:01 Send an email to sysop@throwbackbbs.com with your IP address, it's most likely in the blacklist. I'll whitelist your IP so this doesn't happen again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlipheeseXVI · 2020-02-14 06:29 Awesome thanks! Ill do that now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AlipheeseXVI · 2020-02-14 22:34 Thanks! Also I emailed you on it. So how do I get a bunch of the games?
