It is a really good archive of stuff, and it seems to be down. Hope
it'll be back up eventually.

EDIT: It appears to be back up, thankfully. Hopefully the downtime was
just maintenance.

wasnt this just another URL to get to the PCMICRO bbs archive?

[archive.org](https://archive.org) resolves the site .. not sure if
the files hosted would be able to be retrieved via
[archive.org](https://archive.org) though... I realize Jason Scott has
done a lot to archive BBS software, but hes missing a lot - and there
are also a lot of related tools/utils/art that should be preserved in
the same place. I am already working on an archive site so I can't
possibly try to take that on right now - but hopefully someone else
will see the value of having all this stuff centralized with an active
group of peeps maintaining/adding content to it.....

started out as a PcMicro BBS section.

I just checked the files, and unfortunately archive.org did not save
them as far as I can see. I - think - I saved a version of LoRD and
SirDoom a while back, though; would have downloaded more, but the
downloads were ungodly, dial-up slow, as in a minute or more for a
megabyte. Their history page said they had issues with batch downloads
around the turn of the century, so that might have been part of it.

Interesting to note: the cache was updated only five days ago, so it
can't have been down long.

As for BBS software, this site has/had a metric buttload of plugins,
ANSI art, and other files.
