For any of you who were around during the Forum/Emulex/Celerity/Vision
days... Do you remember a BBS software called Extreme??? I was going
through some text files.com texts on BBS crashing this evening and saw
a reference to it in one of the files.  Checked my own collection,
bbsdocumentary and google and came up with nothing.

Any of yall remember this bbs program?

Celerity was my favorite.  Ran that for a few years.  I remember the
config editor was slicker than most.  I don't remember Extreme though.
Were Celerity and Vision both Forum hacks?

I think I do. I believe there was one BBS I dialed into infrequently
back in 90 or so that was running it. I didn't use it much because it
was a long distance call.

The only thing I really remember was the "Extreme" ASCII logo.

hack of a hack of a hack that was based on forum yea.... celerity
claims they wrote from scratch, but if so they still borrowed a ton of
forum code - even if it was recycled forum code.....
