The Time Out BBS [advert - late 80's {?}] reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4_bit_forever · 2019-07-31 02:18 I found this old ad for The Time Out BBS. According to the number it appears to have been in the Chicago region. I am guessing this is from the late 80's because it's a super low resolution file and due to the 5.25" floppies. Anyone remember this BBS? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LegoMaster2149 · 2019-07-31 03:13 I love those simple smiley faces on those floppies, they're making me happy too :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4_bit_forever · 2019-07-31 03:16 Nice. they are very cheerful! I must be in a good mood - check out [this other post I just made](https://www.reddit.com/r/ANSIart/comment s/ck2jvw/keep_smiling_kids_ca_1990/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x) . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- HotCharlie · 2019-07-31 04:07 Piiiiiiiiimp ---------------------------------------------------------------------- [deleted] · 2019-07-31 04:36 [deleted] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4_bit_forever · 2019-07-31 04:37 115 Megs baby! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- moistpup · 2019-07-31 11:47 Think of all the 1/30ths of a game that could get you today! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4_bit_forever · 2019-07-31 11:58 Back then it could get HUNDREDS of games ---------------------------------------------------------------------- moistpup · 2019-07-31 12:04 I miss those days. The games were just as fun (if not more so). They weren't as pretty, but pretty doesn't always equal fun. I'll forever be a fan of the original [Dune \[1992\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_(video_game)) game that I got from a BBS (it was shareware right \*nervous smile\*) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 4_bit_forever · 2019-07-31 12:15 Heck yeah buddy. Fun is what matters most, right? I was just playing a shareware styled game last night that was so old it predates shareware \[1982\].
