Help with setup of mystic

Got it running, turns out I hadn't disabled telnetd like I thought I
had. Connects fine now. Any suggestions for things to play with for a
first time sysop?

Server:
OVH vps running CentOS

I was trying to install a few different BBS systems but I realized
that most that were built for Linux were severely outdated and using
deprecated libraries so I went with mystic. I had avoided it initially
because I wanted to avoid non-Foss utilities. Install was quick and
painless but I'm having trouble configuring my telnet session to
immediately jump into the mystic login.

Telnet domain.tld
This leads me to a traditional telnet login instead of the mystic BBS.
Any help is appreciated.

So... you're trying to hit in internally or externally? Ports etc. all
setup correctly?

I was connecting externally. I forgot that I had telnet already
installed so I uninstalled and connections were successful. I guess I
edited the main post a little too late.
