Yes! But the rub would be to have it convert to a cipher and post it
to /r/unexplained and watch Team Fedora try and crack the code.

did that in 2007. nobody used it, so now i just tweet announce bbs

well, bbses are not what most people want nowadays. you have the
fanboys always talking about nostalgia but they dont stick around
either. (been running a bbs since the 90s and i'm running 4 bbses now)

a guy rigged up a lot of his doorgames with facebook and even created
accts with the fb user ids but i think he stopped running it because
he couldnt keep his system stable enough to be up 24/7.
there were people using it at the time.

I've got twitter going both ways with my bbs. Right now u can only use
it to send bitcoin to and from the bbs using changetip. But, I am
going to build a module that allows folks to tweet into the bbs and it
post on the bbs.  With putty and a raspberry pi, if you want to go
that far, you can almost do anything from and with the bbs... nice
work!
