April's BBS of the Month. reddit / bbs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tribute · 2013-04-02 08:42 Sorry for the day delay in getting this up. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tribute · 2013-04-02 08:45 My vote goes toward the x-bit BBS. Located via telnet at telnet://x-bit.org/ and the web at http://x-bit.org/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lurkastan · 2013-04-11 08:13 I'll second this vote. I'm not a member of x-bit yet, but I have heard good things about it so I'm looking forward to checking it out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- x-bit · 2013-09-10 10:52 thanks for the votes =] x-bit bbs was born back in the day when i sold my sega genesis to buy my first computer, an 486sx 25 with a 170meg conner hard drive. once the free 30 days of prodigy ran out i found the local bbs world.. and it didn't take me long after that to build my first bbs using Spitfire BBS software. it took me forever to learn how to configure my 2400bps modem to 'pickup' an incoming call but once I did, the rest is history . again, thank you for picking x-bit for bbs of the month!
