im looking to start a telnet bbs and was wondering if there are any
freeware BBS software out there that will allow me to get started?

Also which ones are the best and easiest to use and operate?

also was wondering if someone out here can help me get it up and
running?

I remember the old days where i used to be an active BBS user. and
miss it.

[Synchronet](http://synchro.net/) is a good place to get started.
