I followed this guide [htt ps://wiki.netbsd.org/pkgsrc/how\_to\_install\_a\_postgresql\_server/#i ndex1h1](https://wiki.netbsd.org/pkgsrc/how_to_install_a_postgresql_se rver/#index1h1) and I ran export PKG\_PATH="[https://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/$ ](http://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/$)(uname -m)/$(uname -r)/All/" and then pkg\_add postgresql92-server but I got the following error. [https://pastebin.com/raw/UttCYsnV](https://pastebin.com/raw/UttCYsnV) thanks for your help ---------------------------------------------------------------------- izaacsetec · 2018-07-30 16:53 >pkg\_add: no pkg found for 'postgresql92-server', sorry. Why not look at the listing of the directory contents? [http://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/8.0/All/](http ://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/8.0/All/) You'll discover that there is no postgresql92-server. Your options are: * postgresql93-server * postgresql94-server * postgresql95-server * postgresql96-server * postgresql10-server ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jaypatelani · 2018-07-30 16:58 Have you tried using pkgin? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jtwyrrpirate · 2018-07-31 00:55 Exactly correct. 9.2 was released in 2012 and EOL’d last year. OP should seriously consider Postgres 10 unless they have a good reason not to!
