Anybody interested in taking over my Emacs front-end to (Free)BSD pkg? reddit / BSD ---------------------------------------------------------------------- o_bem-te-vi_belicoso · 2017-10-05 11:55 Hello all, some months ago I've started implementing an Emacs front end to FreeBSD's pkg, thinking that it'd develop into a generic front- end for some other BSDs too. It does some of the basic tasks for FreeBSD (listing, searching, install/remove), but needs polishing and performance work. I wonder if anybody is interested in such a program and want to take over the development of this package, because it seems to me that I won't have the time to develop it further and am not using any *BSD ATM. It's [on GitHub](https://github.com/cadadr/elisp/blob/master/bsdpkg.el), if anybody is interested, please open an issue on the repo, or e-mail me (there's a link to my webpage on my GitHub Profile, and that webpage has my e-mail). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bsd_lore · 2017-10-06 09:28 Thanks, very nice. I use Emacs on FreeBSD, I will gladly try it. I hope somebody will making into an ELPA package and continue development. I am sure it would be useful to quite a few engineers I know.
