with a simple loop expression, e.g.(defun sublistify (list n)
  (loop for xs on list
        for i from 0
        when (zerop (mod i n))
        collect xs into starting-points
        finally (return
                 (loop for start in starting-points
                       collect (loop repeat n for e in start collect
e)))))rather than try to remember the exact semantics of possibly-
differently-implemented-or-available lisp features and also to make it
more obvious to future me what I was trying to accomplish.
