@lauren @WooShell My cell phone is a flip phone.  If I take it to the
beach and it gets lost/damaged, it is about $70 to replace it.  Its
primary purpose is for family/friends to be able to reach me if they
have an emergency (or for myself to call out, also mostly in an
emergency).  [Full disclosure, I do have WiFi-only devices for other
smartphone-adjacent purposes and am frequently where I have WiFi
access, however.]
