What about automatic adding local variable to var definitions ? lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- egsuh · 2021-08-13 08:13 I recently found out that there is a "Find Declaration of ___" when I mouse right click with a variable marked. What about adding menu of "Add local declaration of ...", so that I do not go over to var declaration section? There is issue of data type, but in most cases this is eigher integer for index or string for temporary store string type. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JuhaManninen · 2021-08-13 11:30 Quote from: egsuh on August 13, 2021, 10:13:43 amWhat about adding menu of "Add local declaration of ...", so that I do not go over to var declaration section? That is the "Complete code" Ctrl-Shift-C feature. There is also an interactive dialog version with Ctrl-Shift-X, which is found also in the main Source menu. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- winni · 2021-08-13 11:43 Hi! https://wiki.freepascal.org/Lazarus_IDE_Tools RTFM Winni ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2021-08-13 11:46 Quote from: winni on August 13, 2021, 01:43:48 pmhttps://wiki.freepascal.org/Lazarus_IDE_Tools And if you are curious also explore https://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/New_IDE_features_since ---------------------------------------------------------------------- egsuh · 2021-08-14 08:02 Thank you for your advices.
