Windows BSOD losing saved work lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Spoonhorse · 2021-05-07 15:58 I think the title says it all. I'm trying to do a big refactoring, I keep hitting Save All, and yet when my laptop falls over and restarts I get the code I had yesterday. Maybe Lazarus has a backup system which is being "helpful"? How do I make this stop? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- winni · 2021-05-07 16:35 Hi! Or corrupted filesystem as a result of RAM errors. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Spoonhorse · 2021-05-07 17:49 Winni, thank you good sir. y.ivanov, it's this thing. https://helpdeskgeek.com/help-desk/how-to-fix-windows-stop-code- memory-management-bsod/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2021-05-07 17:53 There is a package "AutoSave" in Online-Package-Manager. This is a how-to article. What exactly was? RAM failure? Corrupt system files? Bad drivers? IMHO, You should try to backup your data immediately, preferably attaching you HDD to a different machine RAM instability is a real nasty thing. Hope you've found it on time
