JediCF - widestring vs unicodestring lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Eleazar · 2020-12-30 02:16 Hi, Small addition. In my large project I'm working on I found the following: in one place I specifically have to work with a widestring or unicodestring. I chose to use the latter because it is reference counted (and use UTF8ToUTF16 to convert string to the unicodestring). In the previous version of JCF I don't think this gave an error. Now I get: with string defined as: s: unicodestring; I get error: Error: Exception TEParseError  Unexpected token, expected "ANSISTRING WIDESTRING" Near UNICODESTRING when I define the string as: s: WideString; -no error. For now I just switched to widestring as workaround. Does this error sound logical? Maybe unicodestring is not known in JCF?
