IDE Editor strange bug with letter i and m !

Hi
I try to use the last version 2.0.8 on my PC (Debian stretch) and
azerty keyboard.
Unfortunately,when I press "i" key the result is a tabulation + i in
the editor.
With "m" letter every second time I have either an m or a carriage
return...
All others keys are ok.
Very strange...

Hi,
I have a workaround solution : I launch Lazarus with root rights !
Everything works well ! Thanks for this wonderfull Pascal IDE.

This shouldn't be the case. There must be something wrong with your
local user config.

My guess is you are using input method like Ibus or Fcitx, they used
to cause similar problem for me.

Because these input method runs per user, when you switch to root,
they are not activated for root's application so Lazarus works fine.
