Newby making a change to the IDE lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- axisdj · 2019-04-17 02:52 Hello, We are moving a large project from vb6 to Lazarus in the coming months. I have become more familiar with the Object Pascal Syntax and the lazarus IDE. The one thing I really mis is the way vb6 has the procedure list built into the editor as shown in the attached picture. I know you can press alt+g to view the list but the built in method feels more at home... Has anyone modified the IDE to produce this functionality, and if not is this hard to do? thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Handoko · 2019-04-17 03:00 Maybe: Lazarus main menu > View > Code Explorer ---------------------------------------------------------------------- axisdj · 2019-04-17 03:02 duh, that is probably close enough thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dsiders · 2019-04-17 03:08 Quote from: axisdj on April 17, 2019, 04:52:31 amHello, We are moving a large project from vb6 to Lazarus in the coming months. There is an option called Code Explorer, and it can show a variety of info including procedures. Use the View > Code Explorer menu option in the IDE. It can be configured to your liking using its Options button. Those guys type faster than me... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- axisdj · 2019-04-17 03:10 ah yes, that customization helped a lot, you guys are great, thanks!!
