More than 10 editor pages lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- abarchman · 2016-11-04 03:11 When stepping through a program with the debugger, as it passes through each unit, a new page in the editor opens up.  If the count seems to be over 10 units showing, when one selects a tab to view a unit, an error message appears saying "Index 10 is out of bounds" (or something very similar).  The error only seems to be on pages opened up by the stepper in the debugger.  The only way to close these extra pages is to do so through the menu without looking at the page.  I am using "Lazarus IDE v1.6" on windows 7 with 2G ram. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JuhaManninen · 2016-11-04 09:19 Quote from: abarchman on November 04, 2016, 04:11:41 amThe only way to close these extra pages is to do so through the menu without looking at the page. Which menu exactly you mean? I have debugged with lots of editor pages and didn't experience such a problem. It must be related to the GDB + Windows combination somehow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2016-11-08 16:44 Can you start the IDE with the options given here http://wiki.lazarus. freepascal.org/GDB_Debugger_Tips#Log_info_for_debug_session And then attach the logfile after you got the error? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- abarchman · 2016-11-10 16:14 The project that I was creating is now complete and when I step through working code the error does not now occur.  I will have to go back to a backup copy of the program and step through it to see if the error is generated.  It was weird because not all the pages would generate the error when selected.  The error occurred multi times at about a month and a half ago and the details about it are foggy at this time.  I will try to recreate it and see what happens.
