Work as a team lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Silmar Pinheiro · 2015-02-25 02:26 I want to work with someone from other place. Is there a way to work through github like in Eclipse? If not. How do I circunvent this limitation? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2015-02-25 09:14 There is noting build in, but you can use an external git client. If you update files from git, and then *AFTER* that switch back to the IDE changed files will be detected and can be reloaded. However you should save all files before updating. If you have disk and unsaved editor changes then there is no way to merge them. The Lazarus team uses this approach (with svn) and it works well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2015-02-25 09:28 I think I've seen lazsvnpkg and lazgit, but I'm not sure how far it integrates with the IDE. I still prefer using command line interface for this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mse · 2015-02-25 10:58 There is also a handy graphical git client written in Free Pascal: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mseuniverse/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- garlar27 · 2015-02-25 13:15 I didn't used much of lazsvnpkg.lpk but I can say it works fine. You can Commit and Update with no problem. also it can show diffs. Never used the show log. To use full SVN functionallity you must use your favorite external tool (command line, tortoise or whatever).
