Window position lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2015-01-08 15:17 Sometimes I switch from my dual screen environment (notebook in docking station) to a single display layout. Lazarus doesn't like those changes. I have to realign all forms, and even worse some of the forms are located on the hidden secondary screen now. Is it possible to save the layout under a defined name and reload it later? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CM630 · 2015-01-08 18:45 I guess you should use Main Menu-> Tools -> Save Window Layout...  Quote from: Ocye on January 08, 2015, 04:17:12 pm...and even worse some of the forms are located on the hidden secondary screen now...Probably Main Menu-> Window -> Center a lost window would do.You could also try Anchor Docking or something similar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2015-01-09 12:30 Quote from: CM630 on January 08, 2015, 07:45:25 pmI guess you should use Main Menu-> Tools -> Save Window Layout......Do we talk the same program? (Lazarus 1.3 r47222M) My tools menu contains of setting, rescan, templates, codetools, external tools, sample projects, compare, convert from Delphi, and compile Lazarus. Of course if you change other settings, then you need to do so twice. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CM630 · 2015-01-09 13:39 Quote from: Ocye on January 09, 2015, 01:30:06 pm..My tools menu contains of setting, rescan, templates, codetools, external tools, sample projects, compare, convert from Delphi, and compile Lazarus... So probably all this functionality comes from the anchor docking package. Sorry for misleading you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2015-01-12 12:09 The executable contains of "primary-config-path". Anyway, I filed a feature request: http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=27290
