Lazarus IDE display problem on 3200 x 1800 lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- benade · 2014-10-25 14:11 I have installed Lazarus 1.2.6 on my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro with a 3200 x 1800 res on Windows 8.1. The IDE displays very small icons and all the lines on the object inspector are cramped into each other. Is there a way to rectify this? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BitBangerUSA · 2014-10-25 15:28 perhaps check Project | Project Options and setting for 'Use Manifest file...' see http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/IDE_Window:__Project_Options#Ap plication ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2014-10-25 17:04 Quote from: BitBangerUSA on October 25, 2014, 05:28:56 pmperhaps check Project | Project Options and setting for 'Use Manifest file...' Good suggestion but no, that would apply only to programs you make with Lazarus, not to the Lazarus IDE itself... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2014-10-25 17:14 I guess Lazarus is not yet ready for retina displays. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BitBangerUSA · 2014-10-25 17:18 Quote from: BigChimp on October 25, 2014, 07:04:26 pmQuote from: BitBangerUSA on October 25, 2014, 05:28:56 pmperhaps check Project | Project Options and setting for 'Use Manifest file...' Good suggestion but no, that would apply only to programs you make with Lazarus, not to the Lazarus IDE itself... yes... silly me. operative words are 'Project Options.' ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Never · 2014-10-25 17:40 i think your Set Custom text size (DPI) is modified Edit***:[ http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/28310-dpi-scaling-size- change-displays-windows-8-1-a.html ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- benade · 2014-10-28 03:25 Thanks for the pointers.... problem solved. My windows scaling was set to 250%. I have reset it to 100% and lowered the screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 which brought my Lazarus IDE back to normal.
