Autocompletion adding "end" lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2014-09-22 11:32 I don't know when this feature was introduced, I've been seeing it for some time, but I am getting more and more annoyed by it: The problem is that when editing somewhere in a begin/end block, usually when comments are involved, the IDE often adds an "end". As a consequence the source no longer compiles because of that additional "end". Then I have to find that "end" and delete it hoping not to remove a correct one which would destroy the logic of the procedure... I tried to work out a small demo, but I did not find out the exact conditions when this occurs. My question: How can I turn off this feature? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2014-09-22 11:41 Tools -> Options -> (node) Completion and Hints -> (checkbox) Add close statement for Pascal blocks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wp · 2014-09-22 11:55 Ah - I've been in this dialog several times, but I would never have imagined that this is what I am looking for.
