Is there a script generated whenever you run, build or compile? lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vfclists · 2014-09-05 11:10 Is there a script generated whenever you run, build or compile? I want to know what scripts are generated so that I don't have to compile interactively in the IDE. Are there some script files generated, and do they list the files compiled and linked? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- howardpc · 2014-09-05 12:08 I don't know for all platforms, but on Windows there is a ppas.bat file created which tells the linker (ld.exe) what to link. Also a project1.compiled file is created, which is an xml (text) file recording the path of the actual compiler invoked, together with the command-line parameters passed to the compiler. You can add compiler command-line options if you want a fuller listing of .ppu files searched for etc. The IDE messages window can be configured to be very verbose, and the trunk version adds (configuable) colouring and extra information. This is under the IDE. Lazbuild may do things differently. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2014-09-05 12:19 Quote from: howardpc on September 05, 2014, 02:08:05 pmI don't know for all platforms, but on Windows there is a ppas.bat file created which tells the linker (ld.exe) what to link. Note this is only true using the external linker, which is NOT the default.
