Procedure boilerplate wont expand [SOLVED] lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vick · 2014-08-21 21:50 Hello, I'm just learning Pascal and Lazarus so I don't now if it's supposed to work like that. So in the Editor i type procedu and press Control-J. This is what I get procedure $Param(ProcName)($Param()); begin   | end; (this is a literal pipe symbol between begin and end, not the cursor). However, 'function' and 'classf' autocompletion work like I'd expect. Is that a bug? From what I understand, this macro should be auto expanded by Lazarus. I'm using Lazarus 1.2.4 and FPC 2.6.4 on Linux (gtk2). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2014-08-21 22:20 yes it is, you need to open the menu "Tools\Code Templates" locate the line that reads procedure in the top list and select it, then check "enable macros " delete the first pipe character in the first line and press ok. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vick · 2014-08-21 22:54 Thank you, taazz! I enabled macros and deleted pipe char in lazarus.dci. Now it works.
