Desactivate the free click feature lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Voilier noir · 2014-06-14 12:00 Hi, i really dislike the free click anywhere and type features of Borland and now Lazarus IDE (in any notepad/ide, you have to enter the necessary amount of tab/space to increment your code, you can't click on column 8 and begin to type as an example). Is there a possibility to deactivate this functionality in Lazarus ? Thanks. Edit : The 3 box to fill in are really anoying, i won't post a lot there... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2014-06-14 12:04 Open the options dilogs from the menu "Tools\Options" select the "Editor\General" leaf on the tree on the left, uncheck the option with title "Caret past end of line". That should do it for you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Rails · 2014-06-14 12:06 Quote from: john.fender on June 14, 2014, 02:00:19 pm Edit : The 3 box to fill in are really anoying, i won't post a lot there...  That's an anti spam device. It's not uncommon on forums. Blame the spammers. It goes away after five posts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Voilier noir · 2014-06-14 12:22 Quote from: taazz on June 14, 2014, 02:04:05 pmOpen the options dilogs from the menu "Tools\Options" select the "Editor\General" leaf on the tree on the left, uncheck the option with title "Caret past end of line". I fully agree to fight against spammer, but here, it's hard ! Edit : Ok, i will post 4 posts and it will be fine, it's cool ! Thanks for your answer too
