using block tabs in editor lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mangakissa · 2013-11-14 09:29 In Delphi I can use SHIFT-CTRL-I SHIFT-CTRL-U to tab a block of text  to left or right. Is this possible to implement to the IDE in the (near) future? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2013-11-14 10:00 Go to options -> editor->keymappings type "indent" in the search box and you will find indent commands under "text selection commands". Maybe the keyselections deviate from what you are used to, specially if there are multiple combo's for the same functionality, Lazarus doesn't always implement all. I use the IDE in classic mode and then it is ctrl K-I and ctrl-K-u, and these keys also work in Delphi. Afaik two combo's per command are possible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2013-11-14 10:09 The functions is there but I do not know which keys. You can also (under Editor / General / Tab and indent) set up, that indent is done to the "tab key"/"shift tab key" The tab which will only indent if there is a text selection, the normal keys always work. And you can set up, if it should insert tab chars or spaces, or mix. --- AT that time also decide if you want smart tabs: http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/IDE_Window:_Editor_Options_General# Smart_tabs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mangakissa · 2013-11-14 13:19 CTRL-I and CTRL-U are excactly the key functions I need. Thanks
