Replacing an expression in text/paragraph lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bul the noob · 2013-07-31 13:59 Greetings, as my nickname suggests I am a beginner so please have patience with me if my question is stupid or in wrong section, I'm not sure where it belongs. Is there a way to replace certain expression in a body of text/paragraph? I am making a project where I need to write analogous on-click functions to several objects but I have to change object names and some variables in the code for each and the code is quite long and it is bothersome to change them one-by-one, especially since there is A LOT of the objects. Hope I am making sense ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2013-07-31 14:14 Search/Replace with or without regular expressions Syncro edit http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/New_IDE_features_since#Syncron-Edit editor macros http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/IDE_Window:_Editor_Macros (if you use 1.1 trunk then pascal script macros) refactor/rename http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Lazarus_IDE_Tools#Rename_Identifier --- I suggest to read both of the linked pages completely. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bul the noob · 2013-07-31 14:25 Thank you!
