I wanted a new form with its unit.  My finger twitched wrong and I got
a new unit without form.  Under Projects I asked it to remove from
project.  Tree doesn't see it any more but it is still in Editor.

Can I make it go away?  How?  I'm sure it's painless and likely right
under my nose but .....

Right click on the editor tab and choose Close Page or simply delete
the file from project folder.

There are usually several ways to accomplish actions in Lazarus.
Do you know about the Project Inspector (accessed via Project |
Project Inspector)?
This has several tools designed to help you manage multi-file
projects, including a popup menu (right click on any listed file)
which includes the "Remove from Project" option. There is also a
"Remove" tool button which has the same action on the selected
file(s).
If rather than removing a file from the list of files needed by your
project, you want instead to delete specific file(s) from disk
(without using the OS shell) you can use the Clean Directory... menu
option under the File menu which is designed for generic cleaning, but
will remove just one file if you specify it precisely.
